This Lacote reproduction by Sean Spurling will shock anyone who plays it. Regardless of it's small size, it is 100% a concert instrument. Surprisingly loud with a nice, deep woody sound, the sound quality of this guitar is quite dark, especially in the basses, while the trebles have a very nice silky, sweet quality.
The tuners are as machines were in that time period - where the treble sides tune and turn in reverse. The action is set perfectly, making it very comfortable and easy to play.
This gem of a guitar sounds beautiful, and it looks beautiful as well with striking Brazilian rosewood.
It's brand new with hardshell case.
