The book presented here unites pieces from works for lute and harpsichord as well as sonatas and suites for violin and violoncello solo. The main source was the "Notebook of Anna Magdalena Bach". This volume provides advanced guitar students with a thoroughly edited note text. In addition to a few "hits" from the Bach repertoire, it also includes compositions that are less known. A valuable collection for musical instruction with 24 pieces, also suited as an introduction into Bach's oeuvre; and a preliminary stage to the suites for violoncello solo which Gerd-Michael Dausend edited and rearranged excellently for the guitar. All of them have been published by Zimmermann (ZZM 27310 - 27360).
