Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1936) was a poet, political activist, pianist, composer and had a profoundly deep knowledge of spanish flamenco music. Here you will find a selection of seven songs from 15 “Canciones Españolas“ (originally for voice and piano) with a complete transcription of the piano part. But instead of the original repetitions of the strophic songs Tilman Hoppstock has added new accompaniment parts.
