Concert Works for Guitar
Ever since Leif Christensen's recording of these works in the 1980s Regondi's guitar works have found an ever more secure place in the guitarist's repertoire. Our edition was the first collected edition of these works and is an unaltered reprint of the first editions published in Germany.
This edition presents the complete concert works for guitar of Giulio Regondi (1822-1872) a major composer guitarist of the Romantic period. They are reproduced in photographic reproductions of the original editions and are clear and legible for modern performance. Each work comes complete with a critical commentary by Simon Wynberg.
