[Solo Guitar]

Next to JS Bach, George Frideric Handel is undoubtedly the most important composer of the Baroque period. One of the virtues of his music is that it is universal and to some extent independent of the instruments for which it was composed. On the one hand, this collection contains Handel's best-known works and melodies, on the other hand, care has been taken to select easy-to-play pieces that represent a good introduction to his music.

The selection contains many works that have become classics in the guitar repertoire. These are works that were originally composed for a wide variety of instruments and instrumentations (orchestral music, harpsichord music, vocal music, etc.), but were congenially realized on the guitar by the concert guitarist Martin Hegel and enrich the teaching and concert repertoire.
