In Concert [GFA 2008 Winner]
Parisian, Gabriel Bianco is twenty-two. He has already won the premier competition in the world of classical guitar, the Guitar Foundation of America competition (2008 champion). He has toured the globe. He has recorded on the Naxos label and has performed on television. We, at Mel Bay, are delighted to present Gabriel's first performance film. At age five, he decided on a career in classical guitar. He hasn't looked back. What does he do in his spare time? Well, he practices. That–™s about it. His favorite music to listen to? Classical, of course; almost exclusively. Gabriel is a freak on the instrument, as you will see in his renditions of Bach, Mangore, Regondi and Mozart/Sor pieces and arrangements. Technically, as precise as a surgeon and as musical as anyone, Bianco is a special artist.
