Je Te Veux
In 1900 Satie wrote several excellent «café« songs and music-hall pieces which included Je te Veux (I Want Vou), an elegant and graceful French waltz inspired by his association with the cabarets of Montmartre. The piece could easily be allocated the «easy listening« heading, : atmosphere of the sophisticated salon and more graceful days. This edition does give the relatively rare violoncello and guitar duo more repertoire material - and it is a good tune, after all.
The technical standard is of the intermediate mark and this edition comes with full score and separate parts for both instruments.
