It all started 20 Years ago when Jean Larrivee made a very special, custom C-10 12 Fret neck guitar for Tommy. Over the decades it has found its way into the studios and many of his recordings. This is a tribute to his guitar with the all-new C-03R-TE Custom - designed by Jean and Tommy.
This model features a Florentine cutaway, 12 fret neck, Sitka Spruce over East Indian Rosewood, satin finish, Larrivee tuners and a label signed by Tommy. The bridge and fingerboard are ebony with a bone nut and saddle.
The sound of this guitar includes all the great qualities that one would want in a steel string guitar. It’s very deep, open, and resonant while very responsive with a long sustain.
Its great sound is equaled by its playability. The instrument is very player friendly and easy on the hands. The cutaway really helps with reaching for the higher frets, and the satin finish neck makes it comfortable to maneuver up and down the fretboard.
