Claudlo Camisassa was born in Argentina in 1957. In this collectIon he has composed six relatively easy pieces based on the rhythms of his native country. Based on the milonga, vidala, gato, zamba, guarania and the chacarera, the pieces are musically accessible and contain some nice melodies but it is the attractiveness of the South American rhythms, which really make these pieces work ideal study material for the grade 5 student looking to delve into the music of South America.
