Paracas is a pre-Inca culture from the environs of Peru, which developed an exquisite textile art. In composing this work I evoke, somehow, this "weaving"Â spirit, developing melodic lines that suggest a sort of "sounding-weaving-loom"Â, or even a "textile"Â coral reef.
