[2 Guitars] [score]

The series "Fingerstyle: pop - rock - jazz - latin for guitar" presents compositions and arrangements for one or two guitars. Edited in classical notation with detailed fingerings and a precise appreciation of stylistic subtleties, these editions are intended to give pleasure and pleasure in new guitar music.

The English writer Nick Hornby called Santana's world-famous electric guitar classic "Samba Pa Ti" a "classic slow-burning piece". The band had released this instrumental number on their 1970 LP Abraxas. Although the song was not featured on any of the three single releases on this LP, thanks to its melodic catchiness and Santana's emotional guitar sound it is still an indispensable part of rock history.

"Samba Pa Ti" consists of two parts: the slow intro played with a "burning" guitar sound and a lot of expression, and a second samba-oriented improvisation part that becomes more and more ecstatic. In the present arrangement, this form is retained except for two streamlined transitions.
