Ferdinando Carulli (Naples 1770 - Paris 1841) was one of the most prolific and representative Italian guitarists-composers of the  nineteenth century. His catalogue includes more than 400 works among solo compositions, chamber pieces and transcriptions, many of which are still considered fundamental for the formation of a guitarist and a landmark for generations.
