Suite Espanola
[Solo Guitar]
Five Rhythmical 17th Century Dances for Classical Guitar
The music of the great 17th century Spanish composer and guitarist, Gaspar Sanz will be familiar to every serious student of the instrument. Material has been filled in certain sections for performance purposes, particularly in the Espanoleta and Canarios where much use has been made of the extra 6th string (not available to Sanz). Various passing notes, middle voices, ornaments, etc., have been included in this edition, and it is hoped that the guitarist will find this little collection of five dances a useful edition to his or her repertoire (John Mills, London England, April 1976).
