The 214ce Plus Special Edition, Trans Blue blends alluring visuals, inspiring tone and easy playability. Designed to excel in just about any musical setting, this special-edition model features a solid Engelmann spruce top paired with layered sapele back and sides in a gloss-finish cutaway Grand Auditorium body, producing a balanced, articulate voice that suits an extensive range of musical genres and playing styles. Cantilevered V-Class bracing dials up increased volume and sustain along with improved intonation up and down the fretboard. The soundboard boasts a gorgeous transparent blue finish that emphasizes the wood’s grain pattern. The back, sides and satin-finish neck are finished in black, with Taylor satin black tuners that complement the aesthetic. A slender Taylor neck with a slightly narrower 1-11/16” nut width offers a finger-friendly fretting experience. Standout appointments include white body binding, Small Diamond fretboard inlays and an Italian acrylic rosette.
