This instrument, like all Taylor guitars is very bright and clear. The sound is almost shimmery and sparkly. Having a dreadnought body shape, it is a very loud guitar with a great amount of sustain. However, this guitar has a particular lightness to the sound quality.

Like other Taylor guitars, the setup is fantastic. It is quite easy to press on the strings up and down the fretboard. The bigger body allows for lower tunings for those who are interested.

This guitar fits quite comfortably on the players body. It's easily played in both styles of strumming and fingerstyle. The guitar has a satin-like finish.
