To give the piece its full title Two Evening Images on Yoruban Tunes, these two compositions for three guitars consist of Dreamprint and Moonglow and are gentle, impressionistic pieces, which are very attractive to listen to. William Beauvais has used relatively few notes to create a soundscape of atmospheric imagery and by following the dynamics in the score any quartet of around the grade 4 standard should be able to make quite an impression with these two works. Presentation is very good as usual from these publishers with separate parts for each player.
